Terms of Service for Guessit

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Guessit mobile application, published by SHA Platforms, Berlin, Germany.

By installing, accessing, or using Guessit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Guessit

Guessit is a casual puzzle game that includes:

  • Silhouette Match
  • Emoji Clue
  • Shadow Match
  • Odd One Out
  • Picture Reveal
  • Word Puzzle

The app may include multiple difficulty levels, stages, Daily Challenges, coins, XP, player levels, achievements, progress tracking, hints, sound, vibration, and advertisements.

2. Eligibility

You must use Guessit in accordance with applicable laws.

Guessit is family-friendly but is not specifically directed to children under 13. Children and minors should use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. License to Use Guessit

SHA Platforms grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use Guessit for lawful, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of the app or any of its content to you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, sell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app without permission
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract protected source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it
  • Modify the app or create unauthorized versions
  • Bypass advertising, rewards, security, or progression systems
  • Manipulate coins, XP, achievements, scores, stages, or saved progress
  • Use automated systems to interfere with the app
  • Introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive content
  • Use Guessit for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Infringe the intellectual-property rights of SHA Platforms or another party

5. Advertisements

Guessit may display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements provided by Google AdMob or other approved advertising partners.

Advertisements may appear during gameplay, when leaving a game, or when continuing to another stage.

Rewarded advertisements used for Ad Hints are optional. A reward is provided only when the advertising provider confirms successful completion.

Advertisement availability is not guaranteed. Some advertisements require an internet connection.

Third-party advertisements and advertised products or services are controlled by their respective providers. SHA Platforms does not endorse and is not responsible for transactions, products, services, claims, or content provided by advertisers.

6. Game Progress and Virtual Items

Coins, XP, levels, achievements, hints, streaks, scores, and other in-game items:

  • Have no monetary value
  • Cannot be exchanged for money or real-world property
  • Cannot be transferred or sold
  • May be changed, adjusted, reset, or removed when reasonably required for technical, security, balancing, or legal reasons

Game progress may be stored locally on your device. It may be lost if you clear the app’s data, uninstall the app, change devices, damage the device, or lose access to it.

SHA Platforms is not responsible for the loss of locally stored progress.

7. Puzzle Content

We aim to provide accurate, understandable, and enjoyable puzzles. However, Guessit is provided for entertainment purposes.

We do not guarantee that every clue, answer, image, symbol, translation, word, or difficulty classification will always be complete or error-free.

You may report suspected errors by contacting our support email.

8. Intellectual Property

Guessit, its software, branding, original content, layout, graphics, game systems, design, and related materials are owned by or licensed to SHA Platforms and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party names, trademarks, emojis, fonts, advertising materials, and service marks remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or remove features, puzzles, difficulty levels, advertisements, rewards, or other parts of Guessit.

Updates may be required for compatibility, security, legal compliance, performance, or continued access to certain features.

We do not guarantee that every feature will remain permanently available or work on every device.

10. App Availability

We aim to keep Guessit functional and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The app may be affected by device compatibility, operating-system updates, internet availability, third-party services, maintenance, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guessit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every device.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SHA Platforms will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use Guessit.

This includes loss of locally stored progress, virtual items, access, data, opportunity, or device functionality, except where liability cannot legally be limited.

13. Termination

You may stop using Guessit at any time by uninstalling it.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a violation of these Terms.

Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and applicable law may continue to apply after termination.

14. Privacy

Your use of Guessit is also governed by the Guessit Privacy Policy:

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Germany, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and courts available under applicable consumer law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when Guessit’s features, legal requirements, business practices, or third-party services change.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Guessit after an update means the updated Terms apply.
